Overview
Best of Ladakh’ tour. Throughout the 16 Nights and 17 Days tour, you will be taken for an adventure to some of the pristine parts of the state.The first inhabitants of Ladakh were nomads who came with their yaks during the Neolithic period. Later, Buddhist pilgrims travelling from India to Mount Kailash in Tibet settled permanently in the Indus valley and brought Buddhism which emerged as the main religion in the region.
Over the centuries, the kings of Ladakh established a kingdom going from Kashmir to Tibet, guarded by forts and large monasteries. Ladakh, sometimes known as the “Land of High Passes,” is a desolate but stunning area in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. Ladakh has the Kashmir valley to its west, Lahaul and Spiti to its south, and a shared east border with Tibet.
Ladakh is a riot of exquisite murals and red-robed monks. It is home to magnificent gompas (Tibetan Buddhist monasteries), fluttering prayer flags, and whitewashed stupas. The people of Ladakh are hospitable to visitors and share a culture with the Tibetans.
On 31st October 2019, Ladakh was separated from the rest of Jammu and Kashmir and became an independent state (Union Territory). Ladakh is divided into 2 disctricts: Leh district and Kargil district (which includes Zanskar).

- Arrival Jammu Railway Station. And transfer To Hotel, Rest Hotel.
- Overnight Stay Jammu Hotel.
- After Breakfast Start For Srinagar. On the way lunch. Reached Srinagar and transfer to Hotel.
- Overnight Stay Srinagar.
After Breakfast at 8.00 AM visit Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Garden etc. Evening Time Personal Activity .
- Overnight Stay Srinagar.
- After breakfast leave Sonamarg for Kargil via Jojila Pass, War Memorial etc. On the Way Lunch.
- Overnight Stay Kargil.
- After Breakfast leave for Leh via Mulbek, Fatu La, Namik La, Lamayuru,Magnetic Hill, Sangam Etc.
- Overnight Stay Leh.
- After breakfast visit Hemis Gumfa, Thikshey Gumfa, Sindhu Ghat and Shey Palace. After Lunch visit Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa.
- Overnight Stay Leh.
After early breakfast full day sightseeing covering Khardungla Pass
(World’s highest altitude motorable Road). On the way you will enjoy theKhardong Village, Khalser Village.- Night Stay at Nubra Valley.
- After breakfast proceed for a return excursion to Turtuk/Thang Village andalso visit the Indo- Pak Border (LOC). Later drive back to Nubra Valley. Evening free for leisure.
- Overnight Stay Nubra Valley.
- In the early morning with packed breakfast proceed to Pangong Tso. Visit Pangong Tso and back to Pangong.
- Overnight stay at Pangong.
- After breakfast you will be leaving for the Pangong Lake. Leaving early is recommended because of the long travel duration. Enjoy the great scenery at Pangong. Back to Leh.
- Night Stay at Leh hotel.
- After breakfast start for Jispa by Tourist Coach/tempo Traveller. Lunch will be served on the way.
- Overnight stay in Jispa/Sarchu.
- After breakfast start for Manali . Reached manali rest.
- Overnight stay in Manali.
- After breakfast start for Chandigarh. Lunch will be served on the way. Reach Chandigarh in the evening (Refreshment at Chandigarh Railway waiting hall for few hours).
