Terms and Conditions – Crystal Tourism

The terms and conditions outlined here, on our website, and in any other printed materials or brochures form the basis of our agreement with you. Before registering yourself, your family, or friends on any of our tours, you must read the brochure and fully understand and accept all terms and conditions.

1. A payment of ₹ 5,000/- per head for Sleeper Class and ₹ 8,000/- per head for AC Class is required for booking. A valid proof of identity is mandatory for all tour bookings (amounts may vary).
2. Additional service charges will apply for AC Class train tickets, Tatkal bookings, or tickets exceeding Sleeper Class fare.
3. The balance amount must be paid at least 10 days prior to departure. Failure to do so will be considered as a cancellation.
4. Accommodation is typically provided as follows:
   • Double Bed Room (2 Adults + 1 Child below 11 years)
   • Triple sharing for 3 adults includes a double bed with an extra cot or floor mattress provided by the hotel.
5. No food will be provided by the company during the up and down train journeys.
6. Due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural calamities, war, strikes, political unrest, vehicle breakdowns, etc., the itinerary may be changed, varied, or extended.
7. If the tour is cancelled by the company for any of the above reasons or other unforeseen circumstances, 20% of the total travel cost will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.
8. In case the tour is extended due to exceptional circumstances, the additional cost (if any) must be borne by the passenger.
9. The company is not responsible for any loss of life or property due to accidents, theft, robbery, or any other untoward incidents during the tour.
10. Any increase in train/air fare or fuel costs affecting the travel cost must be paid by the passenger.
11. Payment is accepted via cash or account payee cheque (for Kolkata clearing only). Foreign passengers must use online banking to make payments to Crystal Tourism.
12. All passengers must carry original identity proof (Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Student ID, etc.).
13. Train travel and reservations are fully dependent on Indian Railways. Specific seat allocation (Lower/Middle/Upper/Side) cannot be guaranteed.
14. I fully consent to the use of my IRCTC ID when booking tours with Crystal Tourism for myself or my family.
15. Cancellation Rules:
    Cancellation charges (on tour price + ₹1000) apply as follows:
    
    • After ticketing: ₹1,500
    • 50 – 30 days before journey: 20%
    • 29 – 16 days before journey: 45%
    • 15 – 7 days before journey: 60%
